Sunday Update: 26 miles done!
Saturday Update: With 16.5 miles logged, I'm beginning to think I might really finish. I've had many people pledge who aren't listed here. With everyone's help I anticipate collecting over $700.00!!! Well over my goal! Thank you all.

Dear Friends and Family and unmet supporters,
With a few days to go before the walkathon begins, I'm setting down to commit myself to doing this. For the last two years I have participated in this fundraiser because I'm convinced it is a very important cause that can help both individuals and ultimately, our communities and world.
My daughter very recently welcomed her second child into the world. I've been basking in the joys and work of being a Grandmother. I've watched my baby grow into motherhood even more. A part of which is her facing a more protected and yet isolated environment. I returned from her house only to come down with a knock down version of a flu. After three days in bed, I'm going batty! Both my daughter's and my present situation will undoubtedly pass relatively soon. Those in prison don't have that in their near future. What they have is time. Time to work on themselves if they choose. This program supports and offers help in a way that is often overlooked.
Should you feel moved, please add to those who have pledged. I will walk 25 miles this weekend. I am very grateful that I am able to do it and for your support, monetary or moral, it all helps.
Many thanks,
Kathy
Where will this walk-a-thon be held? It's everywhere! This is a nationwide event with no set course, so walkers and cyclists can participate wherever they want, with whomever they want.
Thanks for helping the Anthroposophical Prison Outreach programs to continue its important work in serving prisoners around the country.
This year we intend to raise $25,000 in support of the work of the APO and the hundreds of prisoners around the country whose lives it touches, with inspiration, encouragement, and support on their inner spiritual journey. Follow this link to learn more about this campaign. Your support makes a difference!
APO brings the opportunity for self-rehabilitation and hope to incarcerated individuals. We encourage inmates to take responsibility for their lives through teaching exercises, meditative techniques, self-help books of a spiritual nature, mentorship, and correspondence courses.
Thank you for your support!
Anthroposophical Prison Outreach is a program of the Anthroposophical Society in America, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Gifts are tax deductible to the maximum allowed by law.
