Friends,

Each year in September my dear friends and colleagues at the Anthroposophical Prison Outreach (APO) initiative host an "engage where you are" walk-a-thon, called "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" to raise funds for their terrific activity working with incarcerated individuals who want to turn their lives around. From APO Steering Committee Member Eileen Bristol: "Through providing study material by way of a lending library of over 200 books, setting up correspondence courses, and providing a mentorship program, together with books donated to prison libraries, APO provides inspiration and training in communication skills, meditatation and management of impluses, emotions and thoughts. Twenty-five years of service has changed thousands of lives and each one radiates something positive into the greater community. Please help APO thrive and grow so we can be there for the people asking for help. Bring positive change into the world!"

Please join me by donating through this page, to sponsor my walk under the stars out on Beaver Island, where I'll be during the walk-a-thon, sharing the stories of the late summer stars and contemplating the reality that no one is an island, we are in this together, and together, we will improve our humanity!

ABOUT APO Walkathon 2019

Where will this walk-a-thon be held? It's everywhere! This is a nationwide event with no set course. Walkers and cyclists can participate wherever they want, with whomever they want.

Thanks for helping Anthroposophical Prison Outreach to continue its important work in serving prisoners around the country.

This year we intend to raise $25,000 in support of the work of the APO and the hundreds of prisoners around the country whose lives we touch, with inspiration and support on their inner spiritual journey.

Follow this link to learn more about the APO and this campaign. Your support makes a difference!

APO brings the opportunity for self-rehabilitation and hope to incarcerated individuals. We encourage inmates to take responsibility for their lives through teaching exercises, meditative techniques, books of a spiritual nature, mentorship, and correspondence courses.

Thank you for your help!
