Each day incarcerated individuals across the country write APO to share their wish to grow, change, and improve their lives through self development practices, meditative exercises, and spiritual literature. Their letters arrive full of hope and gratitude expressing how their inner work studies have helped them become a fuller human being. Guidance through our lending library, mentorship program, correspondence course, Enter Light-Voices from Prison art & poetry events, and our newsletter Illuminating Anthroposophy we see prison participants transform themselves in deep meaningful ways. Already in our twenty-first year incarcerated individuals in 700+ prisons seek to be part of a community of people who wish to better themselves. Please help us continue reaching many more who wish to join us on this path of discovery of self.

Where will this walk-a-thon be held? It's everywhere! This is a nationwide event with no set course. Walkers and cyclists can participate wherever they want, with whomever they want.

This year we intend to raise $35,000 in support of the work of the APO and the hundreds of prisoners around the country whose lives we touch, with inspiration and support on their inner spiritual journey.

APO brings the opportunity for self-rehabilitation and hope to incarcerated individuals. We encourage inmates to take responsibility for their lives through teaching exercises, meditative techniques, books of a spiritual nature, mentorship, and correspondence courses.
