I have been struggling with this question for many decades.  What is the purpose of prison?  I believe that prison should provide an opportunity for inmates to grow and change their lives for the better, before they leave the prison.  Anthroposophical Prison Outreach (APO) is one of the greatest forces for change in our nation's prisons.  APO provides the tools and trainings to help incarcerated individuals to find love, hope, inner peace, and personal transformation.  It is my greatest wish that any person who wishes to transform their life and become more spiritual/awake will find the support to do so. 

APO provides this support, but is limited in the number of people it can help by the amount of money it can raise.  Requests for help come in every day from prisons around the country.  Not all requests can be met without our help.  Please join me in lending your support.

Where will this walk-a-thon be held? It's everywhere! This is a nationwide event with no set course. Walkers and cyclists can participate wherever they want, with whomever they want.

APO brings the opportunity for self-rehabilitation and hope to incarcerated individuals. We encourage inmates to take responsibility for their lives through teaching exercises, meditative techniques, books of a spiritual nature, mentorship, and correspondence courses.
