Dear family, friends near and far,

Welcome to my fundraising page for the Anthroposophical Prison Outreach Walk/Run/Ride-a-thon 2023!

It is that time of year again when we are asked to wake up from the summer’s dreaming- and what better way to do so then to walk in the fresh fall air for this cause. I will be doing this along the wooded trails and sparkling granite coastline of my hometown Gloucester, Massachusetts.

The Anthroposophical Prison Outreach brings incarcerated individuals across our country- by way of books-the opportunity to AWAKEN and NOURISH possibilities of: INNER FREEDOM, EXPLORATION, EXPRESSION and CONSCIOUS BECOMING.

Please join me in supporting our fellow human beings on their path!

With thanks!

Warmly,

Bride Alona

ABOUT 2023 APO Walkathon

This Year’s Walk-a-thon is September 22 – 24, 2023
We hope you will join in to walk, run, or cycle!

Anthroposophical Prison Outreach inspires inner change in men and women who are in prison. Our lending library, meditation instruction, correspondence course and twice yearly newsletters support students in their self-development. And, as you know, when one person changes, it radiates to those around them. Your donation makes a big difference in the world. Click the button above to donate or join in as a walker. Another option is to sponsor a specific walker, just scroll down to see our participants! Thank you for your support!

Where will this walk-a-thon be held? It's everywhere! This is a nationwide event with no set course or distance. Walkers and cyclists can participate wherever they want throughout the weekend.

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 in support of the work of the APO and the hundreds of prisoners around the country whose lives we touch. Your support makes a difference. Thank you!

“APO has helped me to control myself and be more reflective. I am more positive, I don’t hate like I used to. I present myself to others better with more confidence. I try to use patience, understanding and thought instead of violence or shutting out. I am not as bitter as I was and it dissipates more every day. Now I’m filled with more understanding and feel more optimistic.” Michael, Greenville, IL

Anthroposophical Prison Outreach is a program of the Anthroposophical Society in America, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Gifts are tax deductible to the maximum allowed by law.
