I am bicycling 10 miles as part of a 2024 commitment to raise money for APO (Anthroposophical Prison Outreach). APO provides resources for incarcerated people who are working to change their lives through self development and a study of anthroposophy. The program provides books and materials through a free lending library, correspondence courses, mentorship, and “Voices from Prison” a public platform for art and poetry.  My goal is to raise $650 towards the overall campaign goal of $35,000. Thank you for your support!

ABOUT 2024 APO Walkathon

This Year’s Walk-a-thon is September 20 – 22, 2024

We hope you will join in to Walk, Run, or Cycle!

Anthroposophical Prison Outreach inspires inner change in men and women who are in prison. Our lending library, meditation instruction, correspondence course and twice yearly newsletters support students in their self-development. And, as you know, when one person changes, it radiates to those around them. Your donation makes a big difference in the world. Click the button above to join in as a walker gathering support or to make a general donation. You can also sponsor a specific walker, just scroll down to view our walkers/runners/cyclists! Thank you for your support!

Where will this walk-a-thon be held? It's everywhere! This is a nationwide event with no set course or distance. Walkers and cyclists can participate wherever they happen to be throughout the weekend. Each volunteer gathers in sponsors and in this way a broad group of individuals sustains APO.

Our goal this year is to raise $35,000. This will support over 1,200 people across the US - individuals who are serving time in prison and have taken up a path of inner development through the work of the APO. Your support makes a real difference.

I would like to acknowledge the great work you guys are doing for prisoners who reach out for knowledge. I speak for all of us as a whole within the penal system when I say we are grateful. I’m a firm believer that what we achieve in this life will benefit us in the next life so I like to learn as much as I can. Anthony, Bruceton Mills, WV

Anthroposophy has opened a new reality for me. It transformed me. It has made me aware to what is real. It helped me understand spiritual evolution and showed me the value of each soul. Robert, Grafton, OH
