After Images : Reflections from Harvard's 100 Years Rudolf Steiner Conference

100 Years Rudolf Steiner at Harvard Divinity School, December 2025 

In December 2025, Harvard Divinity School's Program for the Evolution of Spirituality hosted a conference marking the centennial of the death of Rudolf Steiner. The 100 Years Rudolf Steiner conference was held at Harvard's Cambridge campus on December 15 and 16, 2026. The ASA hosted an opening reception on December 14 at the Commander Sheration Hotel. Over 200 people came from across the world to attend in person and over 1000 people registered for online participation. Over the course of 3 days, more than 75 researchers presented on a variety of topics related to Rudolf Steiner, Anthroposophy and its work in the world. In order to accommodate the number of presentations, most speakers were limited to 20 minutes (other than Keynote addresses) and two lecture rooms ran concurrently; there was no way to phyiscally attend every presentation. The schedule was packed, rich and full!

Many members of the ASA attended the conference and have expressed interest in hearing the talks they missed. Some of the presenters want to expand their talks to more than 20 minutes. Many presenters and attendees have been thoughtfully considering what they experienced at the Harvard gathering and want to share how the gathering has moved in their soul life in the months since the event.
