Letters to Members ~ 100 Years

Anthroposophy has its root in the perceptions — already gained — into the spiritual world. Yet these are no more than the root. The branches, leaves, blossoms, and fruits of Anthroposophy grow into all the fields of human life and action.

After the Christmas Foundation Meeting of the General Anthroposophical Society in Dornach (1923–24), Rudolf Steiner wrote several articles addressed to the members. Contained in this volume are the early articles that describe the character of the Society arising from the Foundation Meeting and give advice as to its conduct and relation to the world. This volume is also known as: Letters to the Members, Volume I, 1924. In celebration of these letters, we will send a recording of each on the anniversary of its release in 1924. Recordings will be sent via email and posted here for all registrants.

Note there is a difference between these Letters to Members and what is known as the Leading Thoughts. While there are 18 Letters to Members, there are 185 Leading Thoughts! Also, the Leading Thoughts are sometimes confused with the Michael Letters. The Michael Letters are the fourteen final letters that Rudolf Steiner gave on the Mission on of Michael.
